MEMORIES

(August 22, 2006; 2bhenricks@sandcreektelco.com)
I had Mrs. Harris at Chesterfield in 7&8 grade.
You didn't want to talk in her class without being
called on or a book would come flying at you!
She also remembered her students. Mrs. Harris
would always stop and say:
     HI! HOW ARE YOU DOING?

Mrs. Harris: She was the best teacher that have ever tried to help me to learn. I was in her French & English classes. I started out great in French because of the french words that I had learned by reading many books. But I wasn't good at doing my studying and memorizing French.
Mrs. Harris was confident, well organized, cared about her pupils and seemed a LOT taller than she was, even in heels. I had talked to her on a number of occasions over the years. Mrs. Harris was always interested in hearing about what I had done and was doing. She was one of those people that you feel sorry about not talking to her more often.
