OBITUARY:
ECKEL, Kathleen (MUELLER)
June 25, 2007

     Kathleen Eckel, age 81, of Lyons, Ohio passed away June 25, 2007, at her home, with her children at her side. Kathie was a 1943 graduate of Notre Dame Academy of Sylvania, Ohio. She enjoyed many years employed at WABJ Radio Station in Adrian, MI and at the offices of Fulton Industries, Wauseon, Ohio.

     Kathie was preceded in death by her husband of almost 58 years, Robert. Together Kathie and Bob moved from Toledo to Lyons, where they both enjoyed rural life and were members of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

     After raising her children and enjoying a life of absolute joy with her grandchildren, she found time to spend countless hours researching the genealogy of her family and that of Bob's. Travel was also high on her list of leisure pursuits.

     Kathie is survived by her children, Diane (Glenn) Radcliffe of Tucson, AZ, Jeff (June) Eckel of Napoleon, OH and Shelley (Randy) Rice of Wauseon, OH; grandchildren, Troy and Leslie Radcliffe, RJ and KC Eckel, Shana Martz (stepgranddaughter) and Reid, Brooke and Alicia Rice; sister, Colleen (Cipe) Corrales.

     In addition to her husband, Bob, Kathie was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Kathryn (Derck) Mueller and her sister, Eileen Draper.

     Visitation will be at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, Ohio on Thursday, June 28 from 3-9 p.m. (419-882-2033). The funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 29, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Caspar Catholic Church, 1205 N. Shoop Avenue, Wauseon, Ohio. (419-337-2322) Interment will follow in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to the "Visiting Nurses and Hospice of Fulton and Williams County", 230 Westfield Drive, Archbold, OH 43502.
