OBITUARY:
BORTON, Harry
March 30, 2008

IN MEMORY OF:
Harry Borton

     Harry Borton, age 84, of Lyons, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008 at his home. He was born in Wauseon on June 2, 1923 to Robert Borton and Helen (Hicks) Borton.

     Harry is s member of the Delta Eagles and past member of the Wauseon Elks. He was a lifetime farmer, auctioneer for many years and an avid raccoon hunter. Harry raised and boarded horses; always loving horse racing.

     He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty (Segrist) Borton; daughters, Maryjo (James) Birk of Defiance and Rebecca Borton of Overland Park, Kansas; brother, Robert (Nancy) Borton Jr.; sister, Ruthann Tanner and grandchildren, Sara, Megan, Abbey and Dana Birk. Harry was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Keefer.

     Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; where a funeral service for Harry will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday.

     Interment will follow at Wauseon Union Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Lyons Fire Department, 409 W. Morenci St., Lyons, Ohio 43533 in his memory.
