On Saturday, Sept 30, 2006, the graduating class of 1956 met at the Lyons Fire Station to reminisce, laugh and cry over the past 50 years. Twenty-eight classmates graduated and 17 attended with a spouse, a guest or alone, either by choice or chance. We were all saddened by the fact that 5 of our classmates had passed away; however we were very fortunate to have one of our teachers, George Kinsman, share the evening with us. We enjoyed a delicious catered dinner and watched videos of our previous reunions. When the evening ended and we said our goodbyes with many hugs and kisses, I' m sure we were all wondering how many of these dear friends will be gone when we meet again in two years.
