Delta, O. -- Mrs. Cora Mizer, 95, widow of Romeo Mizer. Surviving are son, Roy; daughter, Mrs. Ethlyn Finley, and sister, Mrs. Alice Guthrie. Services Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Penrod Mortuary. (Note: b. November 22, 1882, d. June 15, 1978) ---------------- DEATHS ---------------- Cora G. Mizer Cora Gardinier Mizer, 95, died Thursday, June 15, (1978), in Howard Convalescent Center, where she had been a patient for the past three years. Before her failing health and eyesight, she had always been active in her church, joyfully serving others as she served her Lord. She was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. D. Mizer. Surviving are a son, Roy; daughter, Ethlyn Finley; Alice Guthrie of Swanton; seven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and seven great-great- grandchildren. Services were conducted Sunday at Penrod Funeral Home, the Rev. Samuel Cooper and the Rev. John Hickman officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. -------------------- Note: Cora Suzanne (Gardinier) Mizer was a daughter of Watson Gardinier (1856-1943) and Alice Lucreatia Snyder (1857-1945).
