The Hankinson Family

Thomas Hankinson was the second husband of Ellenor Gorell. According to their 1860 marriage certificate he was the son of William & Ellen Hankinson and was born in Runcorn, Chester about 1839. Although he is not directly related to me he was my GGG-Grandfather, Edward Cottrell’s stepfather. Thomas undoubtedly had a large influence on Edward’s upbringing as he married Edward’s mother, Ellenor when Edward was only 4 years old. To all accounts Edward was close to his Hankinson half-siblings. I would welcome contact from anyone researching this Hankinson family.
