Kepler Military History
The Kepler Family has been present in nearly every war
fought by the United States of America from the battles with the
British to the current conflicts in the Mid East.
The Kepler Family in Military Service100s of Keplers have fought on both sides
of different conflicts including the Civil War, World War I and World War II.
Keplers were privates and officers. Some Keplers were wounded or killed, others captured. Keplers were promoted for bravery on the
battlefield and attained "Ace" status as fighter pilots. Both men and women named Kepler have served in the military forces. Some of the family had unique first names such as "Daniel Boone Kepler" who served in World War I in the Canadian Army.
To date, we have found Kepler family members who served in the American Military Forces, the British Military Forces, Canadian Military Forces, Swiss Military Forces and German Military Forces. I suspect our Kepler family has served in the military of other countries as well, I just have yet to find the records. Kepler family members have served in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard and U.S. Merchant Marines.
We have records of Keplers serving as fighter and bomber pilots, serving on air craft carriers as well as submarines and, of course, as infantry soldiers. We are (slowly) adding photographs of Keplers as we receive them or find copies in the archives.
If you are a Kepler or related to a Kepler, we would love to hear from you. Just drop an email to the address at the bottom of the page.
