In 1850 John Goswick is in household #386 Union SC., and Moses Goswick is in household 420. I believe John Goswick to be the oldest son of Moses.

Cannon),and Joana 3 months old(1850)(married Caleb Willard). 1830 & 1840 This family is in Spartanburg Co.S.C. listed as GOSSETT. This Moses in 1830 was neighbors to Joseph Gossett/Goswick. There was another Moses Gossett in 1830 who was neighbor to Gabriel Gossett but that Moses Gossett did not have any children listed in the household for 1830. There has been two records handed down concerning Moses Goswick/Gossett, one sais that Moses Gossett married Nancy White (dau of Henry White), and that Moses Gossett is the same as Moses Goswick. The other record says that Moses Goswick married Nancy Jackson (dau of William Jackson of Union S.C.). One of Nancy Jackson's sisters was married into the WILBANKS family that was related to the GOSWICK's. From the census findings in Union and Spartainburg Co."s the 1830 census did show two different Moses GOSSETT'S, one was neighbor to Gabriel Gossett, but this Moses did not have any children and I believe him to be Moses L."Levi" son of Gabriel. The other Moses Gossett was living near Joseph Gossett and this Moses had one child u/5. This Moses turns out to be Moses Goswick by the 1850 Union Co.S.C. Census. I believe the S.C. Gossetts have these two Moses Gossett and Gossetts mixed up and have placed children under Moses Goswick that belong to Moses Gossett. {kgk}

Census read that Thomas and Delilah had been married 45 years, one child, one child living. Altho is shows that Badger (the son) was married 20 years, there was no others listed in household.
