Page building tips and helpful links The first thing you need to do, is get a piece of *gasp* paper. I know that is a very technical item, but I bet you can come up with a sheet or two if you look really hard. Okay, got your paper? Now, draw a small square at the top of the sheet, and put your main page title in it. (If you have already decided on a layout, still do this, because you might need to change the layout a little, customize it.) Like this
Ok, when you have done this, gather all your content, if you have photos to add to your pages, text files, clip art, what ever. Decide then how you are going to lay it all out. I did this, and it took me longer to do this part of it than it did to make the site! (the initial site, not the one you see now, this thing has taken many hours of work!) Actually that is as it should be, because planning is at least as important as your content. The manner in which you present your content can make all the difference in the world. I don't claim to be an expert, as a matter of fact, I am an awful planner, maybe that is why it took me so long to plan mine! It was 14 pages in all when I first started, now it looks like this ![]() Alright, now for another wonderful tool supplied in Trellix....Tah Dah! Web Gems! You use web gems to insert animated gif's html fragments, javascript, and much more. All those times you go to a site, like weather.com, and they have the little box for you to put on your page so visitors can see the weather.....WEB GEM! I am not going to explain how to use these goodies, because the Trellix people have a perfectly good site set up for that, I just wanted to help you get started.
