Check out this site, You must, I mean must see this.  This is the most amazing thing I have found in a while.  I just can't believe no one ever talks about it.  Are you curious yet?  You should be, because I was amazed enough to send you off site (away from my site) as soon as you get here, so book mark me, and go visit this site, then come back and tell me what you think. Have you ever heard of Indigenous Negroids? There were Black Indians. I never knew that, and you probably didn't either.  It is your responsibility to find out about this and spread the word, because what's right is right!  Robert Strongriver and his people need your help, so go read their interesting story now.

Exciting news! 02/18/2000 I have added more names to the M*n*s Census pages, deaths (tombstones and obit.s), births, and Military Service pages. I added a page for researchers e-mail addresses, if you will submit them to me, I will add them.

Exciting news! LOOK what I found while searching the net!
No, not the dancing girl!!! I did make her at www.gizmos.com, but I mean look below!!
The Monkus Family Coat of Arms traces its roots back to ancient times where it was carried onto the field of honor, with chivalry to defend family and allies, king and country.

Components of the Monkus Family Name Coat of Arms
The Shield is: Purple and green with a silver horizontal stripe on which there is a monastery and in base three monks.
The Crest is: An arm holding a sword emerging from a tower.
The motto is: "Monachus Salvador"
The Origin of Monkus
- sample excerpts from the Monkus history
The very first record of the family name Monkus was found in Northumberland , which is located in the English and Scotttish Border Ridings. The Monkus family traces their ancestral roots back to Norman origin before the year 1100. From here they branched and migrated, gaining prosperity as a notable family of the English and Scotttish Border Ridings and later other countries.

Exciting news! It's here...EXCITING NEWS!
I was browsing through the LDS family search site and just happened to search fro my great-grandfather,  Andrew Jackson Moncus.  Usually I don't search for any particular Moncus, I just try each version of the last name and save whatever I find to a file.  Well, I found Andrew, and his place of birth was listed as London, England!  At first I thought, this is a different Andrew, or it is a mistake.  I went on to view his family, which took me to a different page.  It was definitely MY Andrew Jackson Moncus.  The next alternative was, the LDS people made a mistake.  I would have heard if my ggrandaddy had been born it London England!  Don't you think?  I mean My grandaddy would have known, and he would have told someone.  Well, I don't know if he knew it or not, if he did, he did not tell me.  It appears to be fact.  I have since found reference to he and some of his siblings being born in England, and his parents (James Logan and Margaret Elizebeth) being married there!  I have to investigate this further, but I am as sure as I could be without seeing birth certificates or Marriage license.  (Which I am searching for!)  The really exciting thing about this is, I feel that the closer I come to solving this little mystery, the closer to Old William's past I will be!  See, James Logan was Old Will's grandson.  This is not that far removed from him.  What if James Logan and family, possibly even his dad Benjamin, (old Will's son) went to London to visit relatives?  You know, like relatives left behind when Old Will came over?  There is much more to this, and I even have some limited documentation, which I will be posting tomorrow.  I look forward to hearing all of your opinions on this.
