ALTA SIERRAN RV CLUB NEWSLETTER

The first outing of the year is April 23-30 at River Reflections RV Park, 4360 Pacific Heights Road in Oroville. Joanne and Don are the hosts for this outing and will be there early, by April 22. If anyone else wants to arrive early, give Joanne a call and she’ll make the arrangements. There will be plenty to do in the area, including a casino, museum, and even Walmart.

 

Since the campground is right on the river, bring your boat. There will be a milk can dinner on one of the nights and Joanne will be asking members to bring either bread, salad or dessert to go with it. Please be sure to welcome new guests, Daniel and Kathleen Reid who will be joining us on this outing.

The next outing is scheduled for May 19-23 at Doney Creek Lakeshore Villa RV Park, 20672 Lakeshore Drive, Lakehead. If you’d like a preview of the park, check out their website: http://www.lakeshorevillarvpark.com/  Please send your reservation deposit of $22 to Doney Creek by April 1.

Bob and Valerie have rescheduled the July 14-18 outing to Pioneer Park in Quincy.

Jim is hosting the August 11-14 fishing trip to Medicine Lake. Jim says this is purely a fishing trip, you will need a boat and there are no facilities. Spaces are limited for big rigs. Use your Golden Age Pass at Medicine Lake and save 50 per cent of the fee. Let Jim know as soon as possible if you can plan to go.

Tom Handy sent me this photo of a redneck apartment complex to share with everyone. He says this takes rving to a whole new level!

 

Bob Williams would like everyone to keep in mind the Wagon Master Check Off List from the last newsletter. Since the newsletter is bi-monthly, please send me information on outings well in advance so I can update everyone on activities, sightseeing opportunities, potlucks, etc. Next newsletter is May-June.
