Riordan Family from County Kerry, Ireland
John Joseph Riordan (pictured with his son) was born in Kilfeighny, County Kerry, Ireland. He came to the United States in June 1907, owned and operated a grocery store, and by 1930 he was working for the San Francisco Municipal Railway as a street car conductor. He is the son of Denis Riordan and Mary Margaret Bresnohan of Kilfeighny.
Denis Riordan
Denis Riordan was born about 1835 in Leampocaghane, Kilfeighny, Kerry, Ireland, son of Daniel (Darby) Riordan. Dennis married Mary Bresnohan in 1858. She was born May 10, 1841 in County Kerry, Ireland. Denis died about 1910 in Kilfeighny.

- Daniel Riordan, born January 22, 1865 in County Kerry, Ireland; died about 1918 in Leampocaghane Kerry, Ireland. He married Nora Dillane.
- Johannah Riordan, born February 7, 1867 in Leampocaghane, County Kerry, Ireland; died November 25, 1939 in San Mateo County, California. She married Dickson G. Bell in San Francisco, California.
- Nellie (Ellen) Riordan, born May 12, 1869 in County Kerry, Ireland.She married Thomas F. Webb 1892 in California.
- Grace Riordan, born December 6, 1874 in County Kerry, Ireland; died July 20, 1947 in San Francisco, California. She married Eugene F. Flynn in San Francisco, California.
- Denis Riordan, born March 27, 1875 in County Kerry, Ireland.
- Michael Riordan, born 1876 in County Kerry, Ireland.
- John Joseph Riordan, born June 24, 1883 in Leampocaghane, Kilfeighny, County Kerry, Ireland He married Helen Donoghue on June 24, 1916 in San Francisco, California, daughter of Patrick Donoghue and Hanna Sullivan. (see Donoghue) of Ballinabrook, County Cork, Ireland. John died June 27, 1940 in San Francisco, California.
