Although my family has ties to Germany, Denmark, Canada, and England, as well as Illinois, New York and North Carolina, the years spent in Stoddard County and Cape Girardeau County Missouri make us what we are today. I hope that while my family can use these pictures and other bits of history to teach their children, others from the 'Bootheel' can find something that may spark a memory of their own.
