The following pages are from the family Bible of James & Anastasia Fulton, preserved on microfilm at the National Archives as part of Anastasia's application for a Revolutionary War veteran's widow pension. Click on the page images for close-up images of each page. Transcriptions appear to the right. According to James' testimony when he applied for a pension, he copied his own entries out of his father's Bible in his own hand.
"Births:
James B. Fullton was born Jan 21st 1765 in the state of New
Jersey, Bording Town. Anastasia Tuel his wife was born in
Maryland near George Town on the ninth of October 1763.
Deaths: Amarandah E. Fullton departed this life April 14th 1801 on Tuesday afternoon a quarter past one. Ezekiel T. Fullton departed this life April 19 1816 friday morning about one o'clock and his funeral was preached by Jesse Richardson on Sunday the 17th of June 1816 from Phillipians 2nd Chapter, the 10th and 11th verses at the house of John James near to his grave."
