How can you contribute?
There are numerous ways you can help our tree grow. As
with a real tree the more roots and branches our family tree has the better it
can grow. We appreciate any help you can offer. Is
there any errors you have found? Are you in the tree, but there is not much
info there? Are you one of our missing relatives? Whatever the case is, we would love to hear
from you.
What are we looking for?
Every little bit of information helps. Even
if you do not know it all, perhaps others can add to it and help develop the
whole picture. I have been able to add quite a bit to a lot of the information
I have received. Below is just some of the info we are looking for. I’ve
somewhat reverted to one of the first things I was taught at the police
academy. Find out the five W’s; Who, What, Where, When, How
·
Names: First,
middle, last, nicknames, suffixes, prefixes, aliases, etc.
·
Marriages: Who
they married and when? Did they divorce? Have they been married more than once?
·
Children: Do they
have kids? How many?
·
Dates: When did
they do it?
·
Locations: Where
did they do it?
·
Stories: Help us
bring our family members alive and keep the memories flowing. Is there some one
you have a special anecdote about. Please share it
with the rest of us. I have started to try and add little stories and tidbits
about those family members that I know/knew. I’d like to get your take on
things.
·
Anything else you would like to add, correct
or comment on
There is no real set pattern
that I follow, if you think it needs to be in there, then
let’s put it there.
How do I get you the
information?
There are 4 ways you can get
us the info:
·
email me: bit by bit or send me a GEDCOM (I do not merge
whole GEDCOM files, I enter each individual separately.
·
sign our
guestbook: let others know your there and what info you have
·
You could call
me, just keep in mind that I can’t carry on long conversation and most people
have a hard time understanding me, especially when I’m having one of those
days. Email for the phone number.
·
snail mail it me:

And last but not least, if
you have any questions or I can help you fill in some missing pieces, just let
me know, I’ll be happy to help.
Thank you,
Donnie &
Audrey Krippendorf
