Francis Marion Madison
Francis Marion Madison, 32, died Sunday, April 12, 1929, at his home northwest of
Stillwater, Ok.
Funeral services were held in Stillwater, at the Strode Funeral home, 610 Duncan street,
at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, May 14, with the Rev. Herbert E. Gatti, of the First Methodist
Episcopal church, South, officiating. Burial was in Lanier cemetery, northwest of Stillwater.
The decedent was born in Missouri, February 16, 1876. He lived in Payne county thirty
years, most of the time near Stillwater. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl Madison,
and four children, Clarence, Freda, Oscar and Velva, all of the home; by four brothers, S.L.,
J.D., J.H., and W.C. Madison, all near Stillwater, and by one sister, Mrs. Annie Shires,
Jackson, Tenn.
