Father of Mrs. Wheatley Dies
J.E. Crispin, 76, father of Mrs. Myrtle Wheatley, route 2, Stillwater, died Wednesday morning in Perry following an illness of two months. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Newton Funeral home of Perry.
J.E. Crispin was born January 24, 1871 in Iowa. He came to Stillwater in 1887 from Kansas and made the run into Noble county in 188(?). He located on a farm eight miles east and four miles south of Perry.
Survivors include: Three daughters, Mrs. Wheatley, Mrs. Ollie Lewis of Tahlequah, Okla.; and Mrs. Stella Reynolds of Orlando, Okla; three sons, Louis Crispin of Fairfield, Calif., Avery Crispin, of Enid, and Andrew Crispin of Perry; 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. His wife and four children preceded him in death.
