Wednesday Services Due For Vergil J. Lile, 67
Vergil J. Lile, 67, 1223 S. Duck, died this morning at Municipal Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Strode Chapel Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Marlin T. McNeil and the Rev. Frank Cypher in charge. Burial will be in Lanier Cemetery.
The son of William Henry and Jennie B. Lile, he was born June 17, 1897 in Payne County. He married Lillie Fritchman at Stillwater June 17, 1918, and had lived northwest of Stillwater until he retired from farming in 1958 and moved into the city. He was a member of Council Valley Advent Christian Church.
Survivors include the widow; one son, Leslie J. Lile, of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Robert (Edna) Kendrick, Glencoe; Mrs. Alvin (June) Hall, Perkins; Mrs. Richard (Jane) Bolding, Fresno, Calif.; Mrs. George (Pearl) Knight, Rt. 3, and Mrs. Frank (Rosie) Comstock, 1424 S. Husband; four brothers, Elisha and Norman Lile, Clovis, Calif.; Ivo Lile, 523 E. 13th St., and Willie Lile, 315 Burdick; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Huls, 130 N. Perkins Road, and Mrs. Lizzie Lowe, 619 Lowry; and 19 grandchildren.
