JAMES BROCK born about 1759, died September 1831 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. He married about 1781 wife Unknown, second about 1788 to Mildred Crane, born about 1758 in Grandville County, North Carolina and died about 1834 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The Pickett County History by Tim Huddleson list James Brock as a Private in the Overton County militia, War of 1812. He was in the 3rd Regiment (Roulston's) West Tennessee Militia. He was also with Captain Wiley Huddleston's Company 3 Regiment Tennessee Militia Infantry from 13 November 1814 when mustered into service to 13 May 1815. SAR #143645 MO #01979.
