Minister JOHN MADISON PITTMAN son of JOSEPH PITTMAN and CYNTHIA
WILSON was born 22 November 1843 in Harlan County, Kentucky, and died 14
February 1931 in East Bernstadt, Laurel County, Kentucky. He married MELINDA
HOSKINS 11 December 1867 in Bell County, Kentucky, daughter of GEORGE
HOSKINS and MARY MIRACLE. She was born 01 July 1848 in Harlan County,
Kentucky, and died 10 June 1938 in East Bernstadt, Laurel County, Kentucky. He was a
Kentucky Baptist Minister. He is my 3rd Great Grandfather.
