Reverend ROBERT GEORGE EVANS (called Robin) was born 18 September 1839 in
Bell County, Kentucky, and died 03 February 1905 in Bell County, Kentucky. He
married MALINDA HENDRICKSON about 1880 in Kentucky. She was born 18
February 1844, and died 21 September 1904 in Bell County, Kentucky. He is the son
of WILLIAM H EVANS & MARGARET BULL. Robert, aka Robin, began preaching
when he was 16 years old. He pastored at the Harmony Baptist Church in Little Clear
Creek for almost 40 years. According to Henry Harvey Fuson in his book "History of Bell
County Kentucky, Volume 1", Robin was "one of the greatest Baptist preachers the
