JESSIE IRENE HOUSTON daughter of SAMUEL EDWARD HOUSTON and MINNIE IDABELL PROFFITT was born 04 March 1922 and died 06 November 1987. She is buried in Highland Cemetery, Miamisburg, Ohio. CHARLES BUFORD CARTER son of HARVEY EDWARD CARTER and MITTIE JALANE BROOKS was born 18 October 1918 in Bell County, Kentucky and died 22 July 1990 in Dayton, Ohio. He is a World War Two US Army Veteran. He served in France as a Medic and Electrical Technician. After he was discharged from the Armed Forces, he moved his wife and children to Dayton, Ohio where he obtained employment as a Maintenance Foreman at The Standard Thompson Corporation. He was a member of The Free & Accepted Masons. He earned his 32nd Degree as a Mason in both Scottish Rite and Knights Templar. He was also a Baptist Minister and helped pioneer eight churches in Ohio and Kentucky. This is my Mother & Father. This was taken in 1941 in Harlan County, Kentucky.
