My Kinfolks of KY and Beyond - Thanks
MY KINFOLKS OF KY AND BEYOND
THANK YOU

I wanted to thank everybody that I have met in my endeavors to dig into my families' past history. I personally have been researching since 1996. However, my mom Helen, who has been the backbone to these research efforts, has been researching a lot longer. I was just the person who "entered the information into the software program". My first real "adventure" began with a road trip to Hanover, Indiana to visit relatives so we could exchange some pictures and information. To say that it was an adventure would be an understatement. Those who were there and have heard the story know what I mean. I was pregnant at the time and my mom has this immense phobia about heights. Mom was driving and the bridge crossing to Madison, Indiana was being worked on. The bridge was down to one lane with no guard rails up on either side. So, needless to say, someone with a fear of heights, didn't do very well. I just knew that I was going to have to open the passenger door, crawl across the hood of the car and drive across the remainder of the bridge. We made it across the bridge, but needless to say, mom has never driven over it since. In 2003 I began researching my in-laws families.

Over the years I have unearthed numerous individuals who are exceptional and extraordinary; each in their own way. They have unselfishly shared information and have helped me dig to see what else could be discovered. The names are too numerous to list individually, but I wanted to say THANK YOU for all of the help you have given to me and my families in our efforts to discover our past.

The only way I can return these favors is to share what I know and to try to assist others in their search to discover information about their families. The purpose of this site is to do just that - exchange information with others.

Thanks again to those in my past and present and to those I will meet in the future.
