Mrs Wm. Langille of New Bedford, Mass.,
recently spent some time with her husband's parents, Mr and Mrs John Langille,
and on her return home last week
was accompanied by her sister-in-law, Mrs Wilfred Andrews,
who will visit different members of the family in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Mrs N. C. Ruggles and Miss Annie Gray spent the past week with friends in Halifax.

The Ladies of Knox Presbyterian Church held a very successful supper
and sale of fancy articles in their hall on Saturday evening.
It was well patronized and the sum of one hundred and twenty dollars realized.

W. G. Smith of Clementsport, arrived in town on Saturday and expects to remain for the winter months.

Mrs Laurie S. Merry spent last week with friends in Halifax, returning home on Saturday.

Dr E. N. Morrison was at Halifax for a few days this week.
