Nathan Langille To William Langille.
Registered 19th July 1847, at 3 o'clock p.m. on the oath of Miles C. Jilbert
a subscribing witnessth thereto pertaining to law.

This Indenture made this fifteenth day of July in the year of our Lord
one thousand and eight hundred and forty seven.
Between Nathan Langille of River John in the County of Pictou,
and Province of Nova Scotia,Yeoman, of the one part,
and William Langille of River John in the County and Province aforesaid,
of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said
Nathan Langille for and in consideration of the sum of
twenty pounds currency of the province of Nova Scotia to him in hand,
paid by the said William Langille at or before the sealing
and delivery of these presents.
The receipts whereof is hereby asked acknowledged.

Hath granted, bargained, sold, released, enfeoffed and confirmed, and
by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, release,enfeoff, and
confirm unto the said William Langill, his heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns forever a certain lot or parcel land situate,
lying and being in the settlement of River John in the county of Pictou
aforesaid and abutted, bounded and described as follows: that is to say
beginning in the west side of the main road at a stake the north-eastern
angle of William Langille's house lot and running thence west 15 chains
to a stake on the north-east boundary line of David Langille's farm lot,
thence north 45 degrees west along said boundary line sixteen chains,
thence east eighteen chains to the north-west angle of a lot of land
conveyed to James C. Nash, thence south along said lot four chains and
sixteen links to the south-west angle of said lot, thence east on said
lot seven chains and forty links to then west side of the main road
aforesaid, thence south along the same six chains and forty links to the
place of beginning. Containing nineteen acres more or less.

To have and to hold the said lot of land and premises with all the
buildings thereon and thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to
him the said William Langille, his heirs, executors, administrators and
assigns, to his and their only use benefit and behoof forever and the
said Nathan Langille doth hereby bind himself,his heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns against the lawful claim of all and every
person or persons to warrant and defend the said William Langille,his
heirs, executors, administrators and assigns in the peaceful and quiet
possession of the above conveyed premises, forever.

I witness whereof the said Nathan Langille have hereunto his name
subscribed and seal affixed the day and year first above written

Miles C. Gilbert Hugh Cameron

Received on the day of the date of the foregoing Indenture from the
therein named William Langille the sum of twenty pounds being the
consideration money therein mentioned.
