Registered Dec. 26, 1843, at 12 o'clock a.m. on the oath of William Gammon.

This Indenture made this seventh day of December in the year of our Lord
one thousand and eight hundred and forty three.
Between William Langill of River John in the County of Pictou,Yeoman,
and Eunice his wife of the one part,
and James Gammon of River John aforsaid,
in the County aforesaid,Yeoman, of the other part.
Witnesseth,that the said William Langill and Eunice his wife for and in
consideration of the sum of thirty two pounds of lawful money of the province of Nova Scotia
to them in hand, paid by the said James Gammon
at or before the execution of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby asked acknowledged.
Have and each of them Hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed,
released and confirmed, and by these presents do and each of them doth
grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said
James Gammon, his heirs and assigns forever a certain lot or parcel of
land situate, lying and being on the Eastern side of River John in the
County aforesaid and is abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say:

Beginning at the Western angle of George Holin's land in the third
division of lot in the Eastern side of River John, from thence running
south seventy degrees East thirty one chains, from thence South twenty
degrees West thirty seven chains and fourty links, thence North fifty
five degrees West thirty five chains, thence North twenty seven degrees
and thirty minutes East thirty two chains and fifty links to the place
of beginning.

Containing one hundred acres, more or less, with all and singular the
buildings and improvements,woods,ways,waters,watercourses, easements,
herititaments, priveliges and appartencances thereto belonging or in
anywise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and
remainders. Yearly and other rents issues and profits thereof and also
all the estate,right,bills,interest,claim, property and demand of him
the said William Langill both at law and equity and all the dower, or
third or right, or title to dower or third of her the said Eunice his
wife into of or upon the said lot of land and premises above granted or
any part thereof.

To have and to hold the said lot of land and all and singular other
the premises hereby granted and conveyed or mentioned or intended so to
be with them and every of these appertinaces unto him the said James
Gammon, his heirs and assigns,this and their only proper and absolute
use benefit and behoof forever and the said William Langill doth hereby
for himself his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns covenant
promise and agree to and with the said James Gammon,his heirs,
executors, administrators and assigns in manner and form following,that
is to say that at the time of execution these presents he, the said
William Langill is and stands seized of an absolute estate of
inheritance, in fee simple of and in the said lot of land hereby
granted and conveyed or intended so to be without any condition or
incumberance whatsoever. And that he hath good right,full power and
lawful authority to sell and convey the said lot of land in manner and
form as the same is hereby sold and conveyed or mentioned or intended so
to be and also that the said William Langill and his heirs and the said
lot of land and premises above granted to the said James Gammon his
heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of all and every
person or persons whomsoever will warrent,maintain,forever defend by
these presents.

In witness whereof the parties hereto have to these presents their names
subscibed and seals affixed the day and year first above written
