Mathew Langill, F's son to Isabella Robison
Registered 14th August 1855 at 6 o'clock on the certificate of K. McLean

This indenture made this fourteenth day of August in the year of our Lord
one thousand and eight hundred and fifty-five between
Mathew Langill, Frederick's son, of River John in the County of Pictou,
yeoman, of the one part and
Isabella Robison, wife of Philip? Robison, of the Middle River of Pictou
in the County of Pictou aforesaid, Tailor, of the other part.

Witnesseth that the said Mathew Langill in consideration of the sum of
sixty pounds of lawful money of Nova Scotia to him in hand paid by the said
Isabella Robison at or before the execution of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold, enfeoffed,
released, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth grant, bargain,
sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto her the said
Isabella Robison, her heirs and assigns, all that certain lot of land situate lying
and being on the west side of the River John, in the county of Pictou
aforesaid, abutted, bounded and described as follows:
Viz, Beginning at the south boundary land of a lot of land belonging to
Mathew Langill (Mathew's son) and on the west side of the main road
leading up said river and running thence southerly along said road
five chains fifty links (meausred at right angles to the side lines) thence
west sixty-seven chains or to the east boundary line of a lot of land granted
to Joseph Langill then north along said boundary five chains fifty links to the
southwest angle of the lot belonging to Mathew Langill (Mathew's son)
aforementioned and then east on said mentioned lot sixty-seven chains to the east?
of beginning containing forty acres more of less
(reserving and excepting the half of a road of twenty feet wide
extending along the south side line from the main road to the rear)
with all and singular the privileges and appurtenances to the said
lot or piece of land belonging or in anywise appertaining and the revisions
and remainded rents, issues and profits thereof and also all the estate,
right, title, interest, property claim and demand whatsoever both at law and
in equity of him the said Mathew Langill (F's son) in, to, of or upon the
same or any part or parcel thereof.
To have and to hold the said lot of land and premises with the appurtenance
and every part and parcel thereof undertake the said Isabella Robison,
her heirs and assigns to her and their only prosperous benefit and behoof forever.
And the said Mathew Langill, F's son, for himself, his heirs,
executors and administrators doth hereby covenant with the said
Isabella Robison, her heirs and assigns as follows
that is to say that at the time of the execution of these presents,
he the said Mathew Langill, F's son, is lawfully siezes of an estate in Fee Simple
of and in the said lot or pieces of land and premises with the appurtenances
hereinafter described and hereby sold and conveyed or intended to be, and
that he hath good right and full lawful authority to
sell and convey the same in manner and form as they are herein and hereby
sold and conveyed or intended so to be and also that he the said
Mathew Langil, F's son, and his heirs, the land and premises herebefore sold and
conveyed and every part and parcel thereof together with the appurtenances
unto her the said Isabella Robinson her heirs and assigns against the lawful
claims and demands of all and every person and persons whomsoever will
warrant, maintain and forever defend by their presence.
In witness whereof the said Mathew Langill, F's son,
hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year herein before first written

Received on the day of the date of the foregoing instrument from
Isabella Robison therein named the sum of sixty pounds of lawful money of Nova Scotia
being the full consideration therein mentioned to be paid by her to me.

I do certify that William John Gould, a subscribing witness to the within
instrument came personally before me and made oath that he was present at
and witness to the execution of the same by Mathew Langill, F's son, whose
name and seal are thereto set.

Please note that every place, except two, the purchaser's name is spelt
Robison. There are two incidents where it is spent Robinson.
