Mortgage of Roderick McKenzie to David Langille
Registered on the 25th January 1836 at 4 o'clock p.m. on the oath of Miles C. Geldert
Know all man by these presents that, I, Roderick McKenzie of Pictou, in the
County of Pictou, Merchant, the mortgagee named in the annexed mortgage for
and in consideration of the full amount of principal and interest money due
thereon to me paid by David Langille of River John in the County aforesaid,
Miller, the receipt of which I hereby acknowledge have granted, bargained,
sold, and released and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, release
and quit claim unto the said David Langille all the land and premises with
the appurtenances mentioned and described in the said mortgage and all my
right with claim and demands of, in, and to the same together with the said
mortgage which is registered in the Office of Register of Deeds for the said
County of Pictou in Liber folis.
To have and to hold the said lands and premises with the appurtenances
together with the said mortgage and all other securities connected therewith
unto him the said David Langille, his heirs and assigns forever. In
presence whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the thirty-first day of
December, A.D., 1833
