Registered 31st March 1845 at 8 o'clock p.m.on the oath of James Purves, J.P.

Know all men by these presents that I, Christopher Langill, of the settlement of River John, in the County of Pictou, yeomen, in consideration of the sum of thirty pounds of lawful money of Nova Scotia, the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold, enfeoffed unto George Langill (my son), of River John aforesaid in the county aforesaid, farmer, his heirs and assigns all that certain lot of land situate lying and being on the west side of the Mountain Road in the settlement of River John aforesaid, and county aforesaid, and is abutted, bounded and described as follows.

Viz., beginning on the north side line of a lot of land belonging to William Langill at the west side of said Mountain Road and running from thence, west seventy-four chains to Dean and Chapter lands, then north eight chains and ten links, thence east seventy-four chains to the west side of the Mountain Road aforesaid and thence southerly along the said road eight chains and ten links to the place of beginning containing sixty acres, more or less, with the appurtenances.

To have and to hold the same to him said George Langill, his heirs and assigns forever.

I hereby certify that on this 31st day of March A.D., 1845, Daniel Dickson one of the subscribing witness to the foregoing Deed appeared before me and made oath that the same Deed was duly executed in his presence by Christopher Langill, the party thereto.
