George Frederick Langill To William Langill.
Registered 2nd April 1847, at 9 o'clock a.m.
on the oath of Angus McDonald subscribing witnesseth thereto pertaining to law.

This Indenture made this fifteenth day of March in the year of our Lord
one thousand and eight hundred and forty seven.
Between George Frederick Langille of River John
in the County of Pictou,Farmer, of the one part, and
William Langille of River John aforesaid in the County aforesaid,
Farmer, of the other part.
Witnesseth,that the said George Frederick Langille for and
in consideration of the sum of fifty pounds of lawful money
of the province of Nova Scotia to them in hand,
paid by the said William Langille at or
before the sealing and delivering of these presents.
The receipts whereof is hereby asked acknowledged.

Hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and
confirmed, and by these presents do and each of them doth grant,
bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said William Langill,
his heirs and assigns forever a certain lot or parcel of land situate,
lying and being that is to say, being in the settlement of River John
aforesaid abutted, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning on the western side of said river at a small white birch tree,
the east angle of a lot of land granted to the late David Langille
and running thence north forty five degrees west on said lot of land
23 chains and seventy five links to a stake,
thence east eleven chains and eighty five links to the northwest angle of a lot
of land belonging to William Langille aforesaid,
thence south seven and a half degrees west (by magnet)
of said lot ten chains and twenty five links to the southwest angle of said lot,
thence east on said lot three chains and forty-five links
to then west side of the main road, thence thirteen and one half degrees (by magnet)
along the said road and counting the same seven chains and seventy links
to a stake on the east side thereof at the mouth of George Langille's road,
thence east on said road ten chains and seventy links
to a stake on the west boundary line of said William Langille's farm lot,
thence south on said farm lot eight chains and seventy links to a willow tree
on the top of the bank of the intervale,
thence south fifty five and a half degrees (by magnet) two chains and
fifteen links on said farm lot to a small willow at the bottom of the bank,
thence south on said farm lot twenty chains to the River John aforesaid,
thence westerly the courses of the same up stream to the place of Beginning.
Containing fifty two acres, more or less,
And also another lot parcel of land in the settlement of River John,
Beginning on the west side of the main road, at a stake and stones the
northwest angle of a lot of land conveyed to a certain James C. Nash and
running from thence south seventy nine degrees west on said lot eight
chains to the northwest angle of the same, thence west eighteen chins to
the northeast boundary line of lands granted to David Langille (now deceased),
thence north forty five degrees west on said boundary line
eleven chains and forty five links onto the west angle of George
Perrin's property eight chains and thirty links onto the northwest angle
of a lot of land conveyed to Hugh Cameron,
thence south on said Cameron's lot four chains to the southwest angle of the same,
thence east on then same five chains the west side of the main road aforesaid
and thence south along said road one chain and ninety links to the place
of beginning.
Containing twenty and three fourth acres, more or less.
To have and to hold the said lots or parts of land and premises with all
the buildings thereon and thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining
and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders.
Yearly and other rents issues and forfeits thereof and also all the estate, right,
title,interest,claim, property and demand of him the said William Langille,
his heirs and assigns, to his and their only use benefit and
behoof forever and the said George Frederick Langille hereby finds
himself his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns covenant to
warrant and defend the said William Langill his heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns in the peaceful and quiet possession of the
above conveyed premises forever

I witness whereof the said George Frederick Langille has hereto his name
subscribed and seal affixed the day and year first above written

Received on the day of the date of the foregoing Indenture from the
therein named William Langill the sum of sixty pounds of lawful money of

Nova Scotia being in full the consideration therein mentioned to be paid

by him to me.
