Celebrates her 97th Birthday
Mrs. Ethel Langille celebrated her 97th birthday on Thursday,
with a quiet family day at the home of her daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Battist at Sundridge.
Born on Jan. 21,1891 at Welsford,
Mrs. Langille, the former Ethel Weir,
married her late husband Robin when she was 25 years of age,
and the couple farmed in the Welsford-River John district.
There may be something of a record here
because Mrs. Langille lived on the farm at Welsford for 88 years.
The couple were blessed with two daughters, and three sons,
19 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
