BLOCKHOUSE - Maurice Langille, 72, of Blockhouse, Lunenburg County,
died Monday at home.
Born in Maitland,
he was a son of the late Demas and Esline (Aulenback) Langille.
Surviving are his wife, the former Joye Spidel;
three daughters, Verbena (Mrs. Medley MacBeth), Bucharest, Romania;
Verona (Mrs. Robert Jones), Lower Sackville,
and Barbara (Mrs. Morris Knowe), Lunenburg;
three sons, Tremaine and Wayne, both of Blockhouse,
and Lorne, Deroche, BC,
two sisters, Winnie (Mrs. Arthur Ernst) and
Ivy (Mrs. Zenas Nauss), both of Lunenburg;
one brother Selvin, Blockhouse;
17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister Elsie and a brother Harris.
The body is in the Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay.
Funeral will be 2 pm Thursday in St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay,
Rev. Willian Dye officiating,
with burial in Old Blockhouse Cemetery.
Donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church Memorial Fund, or to Blockhouse Amalgamated Cemeteries.
