Langille, Mary Catherine - 91, High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care and formerly of Country Harbour, Guysborough Co., passed away peacefully on Saturday July 14, 2012 in the home. Born in Beauly, Antigonish Co. she was a daughter of the late Mamie (Luddington) and Alfred MacPherson. Mary was a cook for Webby's Construction Company, Lawrencetown, a Nursing Home in Dartmouth, and worked as a house-keeper in several homes in Country Harbour. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Country Harbour, a member of the Laurel Rebekah Evangeline Lodge No.78 I.O.O.F. Goldboro, N.S. holding many offices. Mary loved to knit, play cards and Bingo. She is survived by sons Richard, Henry (Gladys), Country Harbour, Raymond (Louise), Brantford, Ont., daughter Muriel (Whitman) Harris, Halifax, daughters-in-law, June and Elaine Hudson, both of Halifax, stepdaughter Barbara Mills, Halifax, 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren who will remember her as "Nanny Mittens", many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by first husband Everett Hudson, second husband Lindsay, sons Everett Jr., Stewart, and Randy Hudson; brothers, Donald, Roderick, Frederick; sisters, Jean Greencorn and Shirley Hallett; daughter-in-law, Ileen Hudson. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m., in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Country Harbour, from where funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Rebecca Sample officiating. Burial to follow in Isaac's Harbour United Baptist Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Country Harbour.
