Percy Arthur Langille 80, Isaacs Harbour died Dec 11 1992 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Little Tancook, Lunenburg Co,
he was the son of the late Angus and Winnefred (Levi) Langille.
He was a retired commercial fisherman.
He worked for a number of years in the Goldbrook Gold Mines, Goldboro.
He spent six years on the Great Lakes and was a harbour pilot in Country Harbour for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife the former Mabel DeYoung;
three daughters: Leonetta (Mrs. Howard Porter) Country Harbour;
Eileen (Mrs. Glenn Beavis) Sunridge, Ont;
Katherine Ann (Mrs. Don Dixon) Lower Sackville;
three sons: Cecil, Dartmouth; Richard, Country Harbour;
Darrell, Fall River;
six sisters: Dorothy (Mrs Murray Mason); Evelyn (Mrs Gordon Isnor), both of Halifax;
Mickey Silver, Dartmouth; Eileen (Mrs Earl Garrett), London, Ont;
Beatrice (Mrs Leslie Davis), Digby;
Emmy (Mrs Harry Peitzsche) Antigonish;
two brothers: Borden, Dartmouth; Ernest, Isaacs Harbour;
19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Erna Davidson;
granddaughter Erna Langille, grandson Kenny Porter.
The body is in Isaac's Harbour United Baptist Church
