Laban Langille

The grim reaper has been very busy in Springhill this last few days
and several well known figures will not be seen on our streets any more.
Laban Langille passed away on Sunday after a short illness at the age of 79.
A few weeks ago, his son Lieutenant Langille met death under sad circumstances in New Brunswick,
and this unexpected news was a stroke to the aged father from which he did not recover.
The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon,
conducted by Rev. A. Graham-Barton and was very largely attended.
