Langille, Lucy Doris Margurite (nee Rogers) �
Vimy Court, Bible Hill and formerly of West New Annan,
passed away peacefully on February 16, 2012 at Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro.
Lucy was born in Liverpool, N.S. on December 19, 1928
to the late Harry and Muriel (Griffith) Rogers.
She spent most of her adult life in Truro and New Annan.

She was a lifelong member of Order of the Eastern Star
and an active member of Sharon United Church where she sang in the choir,
was a member of the Red Cross and the UCW.

She worked at Stanfield�s Ltd., Tatamagouche Centre and Balmoral Motel.

She was well known for her amazing ability to cook and bake
which her family and friends always enjoyed.
She loved to garden and
took great joy in spending lots of time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children, Harold (Valarie), River John; Judy Weir (Ken), Truro;
Joan Wiswell (David), New Annan; Boyd (Gloria), Truro;
eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild;
sister, Carol VanWart (Roy), Lower Karrs Corner, N.B.;
Brother, Roy Rogers, N.B.;
she was predeceased by her first husband, James Arthur Langille,
father of her four children;
second husband of 38 years, David Bruce Langille;
three sisters, Edith, Marlene and Mary;
seven brothers, George, Max, Harry,
Jimmy, Pat, Eric and John.
Her service will be performed by her family friend Rev. Morley Bentley
at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 20 in Coulter�s Funeral Home (657-3288), Tatamagouche.
Interment will be at a later date in Langille Gift Cemetery, Central New Annan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to
Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia would be appreciated.
