ALLBON, Iradell Marcella - 90, Highcrest Nursing Home, Springhill, passed away
Sunday, December 12, 1999, in Highcrest.
Born in Springhill,
she was a daughter of the late John and Marybelle (Langille) Brown.
She was a member of the St. Andrews Wesley United Church in Springhill, past member of Unit No. 1 UCW, past member of the church choir and founder and leader of the Springhill Senior Citizens Kazoo Band.
She enjoyed crafts, knitting, sewing, crocheting, needle point, flower gardening and her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Janice (William) Barrett; grandchildren, Clarie (Richard) Sims; Sharon Barrett and James Barrett; great-grandchildren, Richard and Tanya Sims, all of London, Ont.;
several cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Allbon.
Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, from where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, Rev. Roger K. Moore officiating.
Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.
