LANGILLE, L. Jennett - 85, Economy, Colchester Co., died April 6, 2000, at home.
Born in Gerrish Valley, Colchester County,
she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Ethel (Newton) Thompson.
She had been a life resident of Economy,
where she was well known and respected.
She was a member of the Economy United Church, where she was also a steward.
She was also a member of the South Cumberland Community Care Health Centre, Parrsboro and a former member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are son, Gerald Thompson, Hantsport;
three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald;
brother, Everett.
Graveside service 2:30 Saturday in Economy Cemetery, Rev. Margaret Outerbridge officiating.
No visitation.
Donations to the Victorian Order for Nurses;
Palliative Care Unit, Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro or any charity.
Arrangements entrusted to Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro.
