LANGILLE, Mabel Josephine - Chance Harbour Rd., Pictou Co.,
died Thursday, February 01, 2001, in the Aberdeen Hospital.
Born February 4, 1935 in West River Station,
she was a daughter of the late Herbert D. Fraser and Sadie (MacKay) MacKay.
Before marriage, she had been employed with Eastern Meat Packers, Quality Cleaners and Sobeys.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarane, Trenton and a former Sunday School teacher.
She was also a member of the Hillside Girls Club and Nan's 20 Plus Club.
Mabel loved children, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Lawrence H.;
daughter, Gerry Langille, at home; son, Scott (Oswalda), Trenton;
grandchildren, Timothy, Jeremy;
sisters, Marie, Ontario; Marion, Halifax;
Jean (Warren), Little Egypt; Edith (Fred) Baines, New Glasgow;
brother, Robert, Trenton.
She was predeceased by a sister in infancy;
brothers, Johnson, Daniel, Edward and Les.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday
in Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Douglas Herbert officiating.
Interment in Hillside Cemetery.
Family flowers only.
Donations may be made in her memory to the V.O.N.,
Aberdeen Palliative Care Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
