Lena E. Langill (nee Ricker)

WELLS - Lena E. Langill, 90, formerly of Littlefield Road, passed away Feb. 27, 2002
at the Varney Crossing Nursing Center in North Berwick after a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 31, 1911 in Wells High Pine, Maine,
a daughter of George and Leontine (Hatch) Ricker.
She was employed for many years as a housekeeper at a hospital in Norwood, Mass.
before returning to Maine.
She enjoyed looking for antiques and going to yard sales.
She is survived by one son, Clayton G. Langill Sr.;
five grandchildren, Clayton G. Langill Jr., Gloria Kimball, Darlene Cumback,
Dawn Syminis and Diana Johnson, all of Wells;
10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren;
two sisters, Ella Howard of Wells and Evelyn Burt of Taunton, Mass.
A funeral was held Saturday at the Johnson Funeral Home, North Berwick,
with Rev. Robert G. Cole Sr. of Bethel Christian Church officiating.
Spring burial in Ocean View Cemetery, Wells.
