LANGILLE (Daniel), Leatha Helen 98, died in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Saturday, December 6, 2008.
Born March 29, 1910, in the Forties Settlement, New Ross area,
she was predeceased by husband, Harding Langille;
daughter, Cynthia (Langille) Woolnaugh and an infant daughter;
also brothers, Clarke, Foster, Alton, Bart, and sisters, Jessie Hubley and Cecelia Young.
She is survived by daughters, Mona Boutilier, and Beulah Hiltz;
sister, Josephine Richards;
grandchildren, Michael Boutilier, Wendy (Woolnaugh) Cheltenham, Gail Woolnaugh, Georgina (Woolnaugh) Turket,
Sharon (Hiltz) Daniel, Sandra (Hilz) Whynot, Terry Hiltz;
�great-grandchildren, Monique, Courtney, Sheena and Jarret Boutilier,
Charles and Nathan Cheltenham, Angela and Bionca Turket,
Michelle and Candice Daniel, Tanya (Whynot) Walker,
Tammy Whynot and Clarence Schwartz who was adopted as a family member; many nieces and nephews.
Leatha lived her married life in Martin's River.
She became involved in school work organizing the first Parent Teacher Association in 1943 with the help of professor J.A. DeWolfe.
She also was one of the original members of St. Martin's Anglican Church Guild.
In later years she moved to Mahone Bay Seniors Apartment Building.
Leatha enjoyed gardening and playing cards. She moved back to the Forties in 2000 where she lived until her death.
�Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, both in St. Martin's Church, Martin's River.
