Lloyd Edward Langille

LANGILLE, Lloyd Edward - 57, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow and Munro
Street, Westville, passed away Monday, April 8, 2002, in Glen Haven
Manor after a lengthy illness.
He was a son of the late Allan and
Florence Langille, (Blockhouse, Lunenburg Co.).
A dedicated
professional, Lloyd taught physical education in Mahone Bay and in
Westville High School for over 20 years.
He was a member of St.
Andrew's Presbyterian Church and served as an elder until he became
ill. A well-known and highly respected coach and sports official
around the county and province, Lloyd loved to work in his garden in
the summer and spent leisure time at woodworking.
He was a wonderful
and loving husband to his wife and best friend, Paula Morris;
devoted
and loving father to son, Trevor (Leanna), Port Hope, Ont.;
brother,
Edward; sister-in-law, Betty Slaunwhite; several nieces and nephews,
all of Lunenburg County. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by
brother, Franklyn; sister-in-law, Audrey Langille; parents-in-law,
Clifford and Della Morris. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in
Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service will be held 2
p.m. Wednesday in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Westville, Rev.
Glenn Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery,
Westville. Family flowers only. Donations in his memory may be made
to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church, Westville or a youth services or support organization.
