LANGILLE, Louise Eva Jane - 88, Halifax, passed away February 7, 2005, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII, after a brief illness. Born in Whitehead on September 7, 1916, Louise was a daughter of the late Wellesley and Eliza (George) Munroe. Louise devoted her life to family and faith. Her needleworked linens, prints and rugs are cherished heirlooms. Louise is survived by son, Paul (Catherine), Molega Lake; daughters, Irene (Kenneth) Sampson, Kingston, Ont.; Nancy (Terry) Scott, Cambridge, Ont.; grandchildren, Shawn (Shelley) Sampson, Louise Scott (Paolo) Cremasco, Laura Sampson and Karen (Nick) Scott-Cone, all of Ontario; stepgranddaughter, Amber Langille, Hubbards; great-grandsons, Alexander and Zachary Sampson, Scott Cremasco; sisters, Vera Munroe, Dartmouth; Lena Demings, Saint John; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Evan, on December 25, 2004; granddaughter, Patti Anne Sampson in infancy; sisters, Aleta Munroe, Dorothy Henneberry; brothers, Osborne, Winslow, Ward and Douglas. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 11, at 2 p.m. in Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 2098 Windsor St., Halifax, Rev. Kimberlynn McNabb officiating. A reception will follow. Interment will be in Fairview Lawn Cemetery, Windsor Street, Halifax. Family flowers only. Donations in Louise's memory may be made to a charity of choice. Special thanks to the staff of 8.2 Halifax Infirmary for their tender care of Louise and her family.
