Percival Ottis Langille, born January 26, 1907 in Pugwash NS passed away on September 4, 2002 at Brooks AB in the presence of his son Ken with congestive heart failure.

Percy was predeceased by his parents Kenneth D Langille ( May 3,1911), Mary Ann Chapman (December 1907), his sister Della Marie (April 1910) and his twin brothers Rory & Roddy in infancy. His wife Emma Lorraine Jacobson predeceased him on August 15,1970.

He is survived by 3 sons, Kennith (Aletta) of Brooks AB; Keith of Kamloops BC; Kelly of Brooks AB; 2 daughters, Bonnie (Jack) MacDougall of Terrace BC; and Penny (Irv) Swanson of Arrowwood AB. He is survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grand children.

Percy came west on the last harvest excursion in August 1928. He fished for lobster & herring and logged Sugar Loaf Mtn. in NS. After arriving in Saskatchewan he farmed, broke horses, made harness and did carpenter work and any other job that needed to be done, and did it well.

After courting Emma Jacobson for 7 years he married her March 17, 1938. She was the eldest daughter of Gustav Alfred Jacobson and his wife Karen Marie Johnson born November 19, 1917.

Funeral services were held at Smith Funeral Services, Brooks AB on September 7, 2002 at 10:00 AM with interment at Maple Creek SK at 2:30 PM. The Rev. George Edmonds of Brooks United Church officiated. The eulogy written by Penny Swanson, was read by Aletta Langille. Pall bearers were his children Penny Swanson, Bonnie MacDougall, Ken Langille, Keith Langille, Kelly Langille, and his oldest grandson Rob Kinnaird.
