LESLIE W. LANGILLE - Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 2,
for Leslie W. LANGILLE who passed away at Colchester County Hospital on December 30.
He was the son of the late Richard and Clara LANGILLE
and was born at Brule in 1890.
Most of his life he spent in the Brule area.
He had been a patient at Lamont's Nursing Home, Truro, for the past six months.
Surviving are his wife, the former Viola BAILLIE;
four daughters Irene (Mrs. Cyrus LANGILLE) Truro;
Lee, Hamilton, Ont.;
Velma (Mrs. Charles MacKENZIE)
Joyce (Mrs. Wyman MINGO) both of Truro;
one brother BRENTON, Trail, B.C.,
two sisters Myrtle (Mrs. Wilfred MacLELLAN) River John;
Eva (Mrs. Roy WEATHERBY) Tatamagouche;
also four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Hymns sung by the choir under the organist Mrs. Thomas GUNN
were "The Lord's My Shepherd" and "Rock of Ages."
Pallbearers were Otis MacKINNON, Rex MINGO, Sandy CAMERON,
George LYNCH, Elmon BAILLIE and Owen JOUDRIE.
Funeral services were held from Brule Union Church
with the Rev. R.H. MILLS officiating.
Burial took place at The Falls cemetery.
