Brookfield - Percy Harold Langille, 67, of Brookfield,
died at the Colchester Hospital Friday following a short illness.
He was born in Blockhouse, Lunenburg County,
a son of the late Spurgeon and Emma (Beck) Langille of Blockhouse.
He was a lumber mill sawyer and attended the Bass River Baptist Church.
He is survived by his second wife, the former Vivial Henwood of Parrsboro;
three daughters, Alice (Mrs. Joseph Mochilan), New Waterford;
Bertha (Mrs. Hector Cormier), Sudbury, Ont.;
Ethel (Mrs. Carl Halliday), Truro;
three sons, Percy (Bud), Onslow;
Bryan, Nanaimo, B.C.;
William, Toronto;
two sisters, Florence (Mrs. Harvey Brown), Halifax; Minnie (Mrs. John Moore), Truro;
three brothers, Lawrence, Upper Woodstock, N.B.;
Oran, New Germany;
Lawrence, Upper Economy;
and 13 grandchildren.
His first wife and one brother are dead.
The body is at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carl Halliday, Truro.
The funeral service will be today at Bass River Baptist Church,
Rev. Huestis officiating.
Burial will be in the Baptist Cemetery, Bass River.
