LANGILLE, Nellie Nora - 77, 112 Hopson St., Lunenburg,
died September 26, 1992, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Born in Waterville, Kings County,
she was a daughter of the late Richard and Rosa (Lightfoot) Salsman.
A member of St. John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg and the Ladies Aid and Chancel Guild,
she was also active in charity work.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Edward;
daughter, Gail Diane, Lunenburg;
son, Paul Douglas, Waterville;
three sisters, Ida (Mrs. Sandy Flynn), Dartmouth;
Mrs. Joyce Best, Waterville; Opal (Mrs. Ray Robins), Niagara Falls, Ont.;
two brothers, Kenneth, Factorydale, Kings County; Dean, Halifax;
several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Vera.
The body is in Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg.
Funeral will by 2 p.m. today in St. John's Anglican Church, Rev. Fred Hiltz officiating.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
Family flowers only.

It is with great sadness that the family of Douglas Edward Langille, 91,
of Bridgewater, and formerly of Lunenburg, announces his passing
on Sunday, June 13, 2010, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Martin's River he was a son of the late Stanley and Mildred (Burgoyne) Langille.

Doug started his working career as a barber in Kentville
and then business partner with Ivan Levy in the Magic Clipper Barbershop, Lunenburg.
He later went to work as a steward on the vessels with the Bedford Institute of Oceanography until his retirement.

He resided m Lunenburg for many years where he and his wife Nellie raised their two children.
He was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg
and later after moving to Bridgewater was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church.

Doug is survived by his sister:, Iva (Ronald Eldridge), Bridgewater;
brother, Russell (Jean), Milford; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Nellie Salsman;
daughter, Gail; and son, Paul;
brothers, Stewart, Lloyd and Bruce.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. 3, Lunenburg,
where a memorial service to celebrate Doug's life will be held Thursday at 2 p.m.,
Rev. Ronald Appleton officiating, assisted by Vernon Mossman.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
Flowers from the immediate family only.
