Joseph Berry was born January 1, 1799, in Chester Co., Pennsylvania. He married Catherine Robinson and had 10 children.
The only documented child was Hiram Berry who was born ca 1821 in Pennsylvania, moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1844 and spent time in New Orleans, Louisiana before settling in Madison, Indiana by 1848 where he married Eleanor Steele Hume (1823-1879).
