Cornelius Barry was born in Ireland in 1850. His wife's surname was Shea, but her first name is unknown. Their son, Cornelius, was born in 1871 in County Cork, Ireland. Son Cornelius married Margaret O'Malley on January 2, 1895 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Descendants have remained in Philadelphia.
