This family migrated to Georgia by 1792. Isham Berry's 1827 Newton County, Georgia will identifies the following children: Elizabeth; Jesse; Mary 'Polly' (m. Archibald Hart); Judith (m. William Winfrey); Charles Mercer; Sarah (m. Spirus Roach); James A.; Thomas D.; Rhoda (m. Stephen W. Hammack); George W.; William P.; and Cynthia (m. Simeon Goolsby). Descendants of this line can be found in Georgia, Texas, Mississippi and Alabama.
